Hi, I'm Samantha- an author, advocate, and mother currently creating stories that serve as "social rails" for families just like mine. I'm currently in the process of writing The Parenting Carousel, a guide to navigating the beautiful, complex world of neurodivergent parenting. This site is the home for my journey, my upcoming children's projects, and a community prayer wall for those who need a sense of belonging while they wait for their own "full circle" moment. We finally have the "official" autism diagnosis on paper. While our household didn't need a document to validate her beautiful mind, we know that for some, seeing it in black and white is the key to acceptance and support. We’re taking this step to make sure she has every tool she needs to thrive. We love our girl and her unique rhythm! 🧸 #AutismAwareness #autismsupport

Obstacle course conquered! ✅ We had the best time at a new play place. It was the perfect size—not too overwhelming, super clean, and very welcoming.

Learning to navigate the ‘post-fun crash’ is a huge part of our journey with *The Parenting Carousel*. We’ve learned that one ‘big’/ extra thing a week outside of school, sports and church is exactly what our bodies and brains can handle. Quality over quantity, always! 🎠

God is in every detail of the story HE’s writing—even the chapters that felt like a valley. 🤍 Seeing these photos from my recent shoot makes me realize how far we’ve come. The Carousel Landing is a seed that was planted in a hard season, but look at how it’s beginning to bloom. 🎠

This might look like just a hairstyle, but to us, it’s a massive victory. 🏆 For the longest time, sensory struggles meant hair washing and brushing were a battle. It’s taken months of patience, time, and building trust, but today... today she was EXCITED to have her hair done.

To my fellow autism mamas: the "slow and steady" approach works. Watching her beam with confidence is worth every second of the wait. ❤️✨

Savoring the silence and my coffee before the carousel starts to spin. ☕️🎠

I’m fueling up the crew this morning with some strawberry stuffed French toast. The best part? I prepped this ahead of time so the "Operator" could actually enjoy her morning instead of racing against the clock. 🍓🍞

(And don't worry—this mountain of French toast is for my teenage son! I don’t eat quite that much in the morning, but a growing "Engine" needs plenty of fuel for the ride ahead.)
